The Wonderful Winter Landscape

This time of year is good and challenging for Midwesterners.  The challenging?  The weather.  Nuff said.  The good?  It’s a great time to notice attractive features of trees and shrubs in the landscape.   At this point in the season, the parts of the plants that otherwise get ignored become the highlight of the winter landscape. This blog post will be heavy on the photos to show examples of what to look for.  If you see something you like or would solve a landscape problem, make notes to include them at spring planting time.
